As long as you limit your criticism to the asinine remarks made by pretentious and ignorant religious speakers, you are appreciated and, more or less, respected by the scholars of the faith and the masses for exposing their fallacies. But when you drag the prophet and the religion down in your ignorant and ill-intended rant with your pseudo-knowledge of the scriptures or the faith itself, you’ve just crossed the line and must prepare to face the repercussions.
